Jason Wilmot

Neshaminy took over and Carter Clee had some nice runs, but the ‘Skins stalled on the 43. Nicastro went out to punt, but on a trick play, Jason Wilmot showed off his baseball slinging skills when he caught the snap and sailed it to Lucas Stewart for the down. However, the ‘Skins were not able to take advantage and stalled midfield.

The Rams then went a quick three and out.

The team of Michael Eckart, Jason Gilardi, Nashir Moore, Carter Clee and the O Line moved the ball down to field goal range, where dependable Nicastro cleared the uprights. Score is ‘Skins 10 – Rams 0.

The wind picked up significantly to start the 2nd quarter. The Rams continued their drive down the field, where Luis Nunes kicked a 20 yard field goal to put the Rams on the board. Score ‘Skins 10 – Rams 3.

Kaden Nicastro Kicker

So, ball back to ‘Skins who are now in great field position on the Rams’ 45. Two big 15 yard Rams’ penalties put the ‘Skins in the red zone on the 15. Neshaminy took advantage and scored on a 10 yard TD pass to Colbey Bracey and Nicastro PAT kick is good. Score ‘Skins 24 – Rams 3.

Both teams went three and out and after what felt like an incredibly long 3rd quarter, it ended with the Rams in possession of the ball on their own 47.

The teams switch sides as we came to the final stretch. The Rams made it all the way to the ‘Skins’ 40 where they turned the ball over on downs, but Neshaminy fumbled on the first play and the Rams got another chance. Pennridge struggled to move the ball and were forced to punt.

The Sassano Brothers

The ‘Skins played well today and made us all proud. Michael Eckart set the tone from the 1st play of scrimmage. He gets better every game and we love to see him throw the ball. The Sassano brothers #11 and #15 were everywhere today making key plays all day long. Both the offense and the defense were firing on all cylinders and both sides worked equally hard.

You can re-watch the game here. We wish Coach Beller and his Rams the best for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Captains for tonight’s game were: #1 Michael Eckart, #8 Connor Frederick, #55 Kyler Nelson and #95 Owen Swartz.

See you next Thursday night at Harry’s House as we take on Central Bucks East. We hope to see you there!

Good night Mrs. B
