WBCB Post Game Interview
Sterling Limousine Players of the Week
First star: Mike Garlick, Neshaminy
The Redskins’ outside linebacker had a career night on the defensive side of the football, finishing with eight solo tackles – one tackle for a loss. He also had three pass breakups and an interception in Neshaminy’s 28-20 win over Roman Catholic. Coach Steve Wilmot says: “Mike is a high motor kid. He’s a kid that’s always going. He won the job in the offseason. It wasn’t a matter of when is Mike going to play, it was where is he going to play because of his offseason efforts. He’s a kid that’s going to be at the right place the right time just because he tries harder than everybody else. He’s our slot receiver on offense and our outside linebacker on defense, and he’s a high motor kid that gets around.”
Special Teams Player of the Week
Second Star: Dylan McDonald, Neshaminy
The senior placekicker was 4-for-4 on extra points and also had four kickoffs for 221 yards in Neshaminy’s 28-20 win over Roman Catholic.
SOL Honor Roll
Will Dogba, Neshaminy
The senior running back had 18 carries for 100 yards and also had three catches for 35 yards and two touchdowns in Neshaminy’s 28-20 win over Roman Catholic.
