Levittown: Tonight Neshaminy visited the other Harry’s house – Harry S. Truman’s that is. The fans felt the heat not only from the balmy September weather, but from the heat waves coming off the turf as we saw a spirited match that put up a lot of points.

Similar to last week, the first quarter saw the ‘Skins score on the 3rd play of the game. The Tigers came right back though, showing that they came to play and put up 7 points of their own when QB Jordan Freeman ran in their 1st touchdown of the game. From there it was back and forth until Neshaminy posted 14 points in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half.

The Tigers never stopped the fight and picked up another 7 points in the 3rd quarter when Mason Jones’ pass was intercepted by Tyrone Willis who ran 8 yards for a TD. But that would be it for Truman as Neshaminy continued to score on a run and a pass, taking the game 62-28.

In all, Mason Jones threw for 316 yards, hitting Oleh Manzyk, Corey Joyce and favorite target, Zach Tredway. Will Dogba showed his array of quick moves and ran for 165 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Tonight’s game captains were #1 Zach Tredway, #7 Will Dogba, #8 Mason Jones and #76 Kyle Osterhoudt

Thank you to Coach John Craig and his Tigers for welcoming us and for playing hard and showing true grit. It was a very exciting game.

We host Abington next week, so make your plans and don’t miss this game.

Goodnight Mrs. B!
