
Fairless Hills: The ‘Skins took the short drive to Pennsbury’s M.E.F. Stadium to meet Coach Galen Snyder and his Falcons for the last regular season game of 2025. The Falcons are 1-8 and the ‘Skins 6-3. The Falcons are celebrating Senior Night and the crowd brought their blankets as temps are in the low 50s..
Pennsbury won the toss and elected to defer. The 'Skins proceeded to march down the field with a combination of Michael Eckart and Carter Clee runs and short passes to Brock Williams. Clee ran it in from the 4 for a quick TD. Stephen Buczelk was good for the extra point and the score was ‘Skins 7 – Falcons 0.
Pennsbury then ate up the remaining 7 minutes of the first quarter working their ground game. Fourteen plays later they made it to the ‘Skins’ 15 as 1st quarter ended.
Reversing sides, the Falcons quickly scored on an 8 yard Luke Beighley run. Angelo Pereira's kick was good. Score was all even at 7 - 7.
Pereira then kicked off and the ‘Skins started from their own 40. Clee pummeled his way through Falcon defenders for 15 and Williams caught a beautiful Eckart pass for 33 yards. Clee caught a screen pass and ran it in for a TD. Buczek's kick was good and the score was ‘Skins 14 – Falcons 7.
The Falcons quickly went 3 and out.
Pennsbury’s David Kane did the punting honors and Nick Sassano returned the ball to the Falcons’ 41, giving the ‘Skins great field position to start their drive but they stalled and the Falcons took over on downs on their own 33.
The Falcons were at their 44 when Owen Swartz and Corey Keenoy-Webb sacked Jack Arndt for a 9 yard loss which put Pennsbury in a 3rd and 22 situation. Arndt tried a Hail Mary pass but Nick Sassano had the receiver well covered.
With 2 minutes left in the half, the punt went to the ‘Skins but a holding penalty pushed them back to their own 19. Then Eckart lobbed a stunning 43 yard pass to Nick Sassano who made a unbelievable catch even with a Falcon defender too close for comfort. However, the ball was fumbled and recovered by the Falcons on their 20.
Pennsbury got a few runs in before the 1st half ended, Score was “Skins 14 – Falcons 7.
Neshaminy’s Buczek kicked off to start the 2nd half and the Falcons started on their own 35. But a false start penalty, their first of the night, forced a punt.
With the ‘Skins in possession, Eckart, Clee and a key 17 yard Mike Sassano catch brought the ‘Skins to the Falcon’s 25. Clee then pushed hard against Falcon defenders to gain 16. Eckart then throws a bomb to Mike Sassano in the end zone for a TD. Buczek added the extra point and the score was ‘Skins 21 – Falcons 7.
The Falcons avoided having to punt due to two Neshaminy penalties, but Mike Sassano intercepted the ball which put the ‘Skins right on their own 28.
On the first play of the Neshaminy possession, Eckart showed his explosive running abilities as he rushed for 50 yards to bring the ‘Skins into Falcon territory. He then threw a bullet to Mike Sassano for a TD. Buczek split the uprights and the score was ‘Skins 28 – Falcons 7.
The Falcons then moved the ball to their 32 but Mike Sassano intercepted a pass and returned the ball for a TD, his third of the quarter. Buczek was good for the extra point and the score was ‘Skins 35 – Falcons 7 as the clock ran out on the 3rd quarter.
Starting from their 30 , the Falcons fought hard for yardage as Kaiden Brown and Luke Beighley powered their way down to midfield but they turned the ball over on downs.
With the ball on the Falcons’ 45, the ‘Skins’ Cayden Weaver took over the rushing responsibilities. But the ‘Skins turned the ball over on downs on the Falcons’ 37.
The Falcons came back and scored on a 48 yard Beighley run. The Pereira kick was good and the score went to ‘Skins 35 – Falcons 14.

Playing the Falcons is always a big game. Hats off to Jack Arndt, only a sophomore, who played in the QB position and Luke Beighley and Cayden Brown who both fought hard for all of their rushing yards.
