Langhorne: On a beautiful clear and cool football Friday, Heartbreak Ridge welcomed the Council Rock North Indians. Winning the coin toss, Neshaminy wasted no time in scoring on the 6th play of the game. Then, with 3:37 left on the clock, 6 points were put on the scoreboard on a 16 yd pass to Mike Garlick but McDonald’s kick was blocked by the Indians.

With a huge full moon creeping over the visitor’s bleachers, the ‘Skins got to work in the 2nd quarter. Two minutes in, and Will Dogba scored on a 20 yard run. A high Council Rock snap batted into the end zone by Joe Stills and Savion Hebron gave the ‘Skins 2 more points on a Safety. Ten seconds later from the 50 yard line, Will Dogba took the ball and made a strong run in to the end zone for another 6 points and Dylan McDonald upped the score to 29 – 0 ‘Skins. Neshaminy was not finished yet as Mason Jones threw a beautiful 24 yd pass to Mike Garlick for his second touchdown of the game and Dylan McDonald added 1 more. Then with 1:10 left on the clock Mike Crescenzo scored on a 11 yard run and Dylan McDonlad’s kick was good. Score at end of 2nd quarter of 43 – 0 brought the mercy rule in effect for the remainder of the game.

The 3rd and 4th quarter saw many fresh faces and we saw some nice plays by Mike Crescenzo, Jake Sckupakus, Savion Hebron, Ryan O’Connor, Brock Leinbach as Junior Billy Clark #13 manned the quarterback position.

Many thanks to the Indians for making the trip to Heartbreak Ridge and playing hard all 4 quarters. Hats off to Mike Welde for his 3rd quarter touchdown on a screen pass from Evan Devine.

Captains for tonight’s game were #1 Zach Tredway, #6 Jacob Gordon, #7 Will Dogba and #8 Mason Jones.
