Warrington: The ‘Skins were on the road tonight at Titan Stadium, home of Central Bucks South. It was Homecoming for the 5-1 Titans and a win would be a nice addition to their festivities. With the ‘Skins also at 5-1 for the season it looked to be an exciting game.

‘Skins had first possession and made good use of it, as speedy Savion Hebron scored on the 5th play with a 47 yard scamper into the end zone. Matt Leonhauser split the uprights and just like that, it was 7-0 ‘Skins.

CB South then wasted no time when Jason Horvath was handed the ball by the kick-off receiver at the 9 yard line and returned it for 91 yards but the TD was called back for a penalty. Then on the Titans’ third play of possession the ‘Skins’ Chris Majors recovered a hand-off fumble, getting the ball right back. However Neshaminy was unable to capitalize on it and turned the ball over on a 4th and down. The ball went back and forth for the rest of the quarter with no points added on the board.

The 2nd half belonged to the Titans who scored twice, first on a 25 yard pass and again on a trick play pass of 9 yards. Both kicks by Madden were good and the Titans were up by 7 going into the break.

Both team stalled in the 3rd quarter. We did see however, some nice running by Joel Stills and Hebron and a 40 yard catch by Cory Joyce. The Titans attempted to score on a 25 yard field goal but were unsuccessful.

The 4th quarter saw a lot of back and forth as the ball changed hands. But late in the 4th we saw the ‘Skins move the ball through persistent play 45 yards down to the 17 yard line. It was a combination of Stills and QB Brody McAndrew runs, sometimes on 4th down, along with a crucial pass interference penalty against the Titans that saw the ‘Skins at their own 17 yard line. With all the fans on their feet and with 34 seconds left on the clock, McAndrew threw a perfect pass to Mike Garlick in the end zone for a TD. Leonhauser was 2 for 2 and the game went into OT with both teams at 14.

The ‘Skins had first possession in OT and starting from the 10 yard line scored in 2 plays; a 3 yard Hebron run followed up by a 7 yard rush right up the middle by Stills. Leonhauser’s kick was good for the extra point bringing the score to 21-14 ‘Skins.

The Titans took their turn at the 10 and John Hughes and Garlick snuffed their first run back to the 15. Lou DiFrancesco and Oleh Manzyk then stopped the 2nd run at the 8. Hughes and Garlick forced a hurry up pass that missed its mark and finally Joyce shut down the catch in the end zone.

Game to ‘Skins! Thank you for giving Coach Ray Kelly the best birthday present ever.

We thank Head Coach Tom Hetrick and the Titan community for their hospitality and especially the Titans who played hard down to the last second of the game.

Captains: #5 Oleh Manzyk, #10 Mike Garlick, #25 Cory Joyce and #74 Jacob Kelly
