Langhorne: Pennridge head coach Cody Muller and his Rams are at the Ridge tonight for game 2. The ‘Skins records stands at 18-8-0 against the Rams and ‘Skins have won the last 5 games matches.

Right from the gate, Pennridge scored on the very first play of the game with an 80 yard kick off return by Fabian Padin. With the ball back in the ‘Skins hands they marched down to the Rams 24 yard line with a long drive of 12 plays where they stalled at the Rams’ 24 yard line and turned the ball over on downs. First quarter flew by and ended with the Rams in possession of the ball on the ‘Skins 10 yard line. Score ‘Skins 0 – Rams 7.

Pennridge scored in the first minute of the 2nd quarter with a 10 yard run by Dillon Poles but the Brandon Shires kick went far left. The ‘Skins and Rams then went back to back turnover on downs. When the ‘Skins got the ball back they went three and out were forced to punt. The Rams then ended the half with a Shires’ field goal and the score was ‘Skins 0 – Rams 16.

The ‘Skins fared no better in the 3rd quarter. They were unable to move the ball and were forced to punt twice while the Rams scored with 5:56 left in the quarter. Score at the end of the quarter was ‘Skins 0 – Rams 23 with the Rams in possession of the ball.

For the third time this evening the Rams scored in the first minute of the 4th quarter with a toss to Padin and shut out Neshaminy with a score ‘Skins 0 – Rams 30.

Highlight – Nick Poplawski and John Hutchinson’s sack on Rams QB Bobby Croyle in the 2nd quarter. We know the team will be hard at work this week reviewing film and sizing up their next opponent.

Hats off to the Rams who played hard all game. Best of health and luck to you moving forward.

The ‘Skins are back at the Ridge next week to meet the Galloping Ghosts. No doubt they appreciate those who are allowed to attend as Neshaminy fans are second to none. Kudos to them on their great social distancing.

Goodnight Mrs. B!
