Langhorne: We’re making history at Harry’s House tonight. We are back in action in a new season celebrating our new stadium. Tonight’s visiting team is Head Coach Steven Quigley and his Kensington Tigers. This is our first meeting and it is sure to be a good game. The District 12 Tigers were 6-4 in 2022.
2023_08_25_Neshaminy VS Kensington Sophomore carter Clee
This game was set in the action packed 1st quarter. Kaden Nicastro started it up with a 55 yard kick off and put the Tigers start at their 24 yard line and they went three and out.. The ‘Skins get great field position on the Tigers’ 32 and, make note of this for the history books, Carter Clee gets the first offensive run on our brand new turf for 10 yards and the very first TD when he punched the ball in from the 2 yard line. Kayden Nicasto’s kick is good for the extra point.
The Tigers then fumbled and the ‘Skins recovered on the Tiger’s 14 yard line. The next play was a Colin Baker to Anthony Gross short pass, and the ‘Skins scored. Nicastro aces the extra point and the score is ‘Skins 14 – Tigers 0. The Tigers continued to struggle and were forced to punt but when their punter fumbled, the ‘Skins quickly recovered the ball and took over on the Tigers’ 15 yard line. Carter Clee scampered in for another 7 and Nicastro was good for the extra point. Score ‘Skins 21 - Tigers 0.
Hard to believe, but we are still in the 1st quarter. Stuck on their 24 yard line, the Tigers were forced to punt on a 4th and 9, but the punt was blocked. Tristen Rivera recovered and ran 11 yards into the end zone for another TD. Nicastro’s PAT was good and as the seconds tick down in the 1st quarter, the score is ‘Skins 28 – Tigers 0.
Kicker Kayden Niastro
The 2nd quarter begins with the ‘Skins in possession of the ball on the Tigers’ 16 yard line when Travis Lavelah speeds 18 yards down the right side in to the end zone. Nicastro’s kick is good and the score is ‘Skins 35 – Tigers 0. Then with another mishap by the Tiger offense, the ‘Skins recover a fumble to land on the Tigers’ 19 yard line with great field position. We are now seeing a slew of new faces and sophomore Michael Eckert in as QB. With Jason Wilmot moving the ball in a series of short speedy runs, the ‘Skins’ Nicastro kicked a field goal and the score was ‘Skins 38 – Tigers 0.
Following the ‘Skins field goal, the Tigers were able to move the ball a bit better until Doyle Swartz intercepted the Tigers’ ball on their 35 yard line. The clock runs out on the first half with the score ‘Skins 38 – Tigers 0.

The 2nd half starts with a have a running clock. The ‘Skins rotated in more new faces and we saw some swift running from Cayden Weaver, Russ May and sophomore QB Nick Sassano. We also got to see some passes from Nick Sassano to his brother Michael – both sophomores. The 'Skins scored one more time with a 10 yard pass from Nick Sassano to David Liberty with 5:32 left on the clock. No attempt was made for the extra point.
Final score ‘Skins 44 – Tigers 0
We wish Coach Quigley and his Tigers a great 2023 season.
Shout out to Kayden Nicastro who continues to kick the ball with accuracy and power on a consistent basis. The defense was on fire and were everywhere, all the time.
