Langhorne: Tonight we have an historic moment as the stadium is re-dedicated to Harry E. Franks. We welcome head coach CJ Szydlik and his Council Rock South Golden Hawks. They are coming in with record of 1-0 with a win against William Tennent. The ‘Skins are also 1-0 with the big win against Kensington in their home opener.

The ‘Skins receive first and despite moving the ball down the field with the help of the Clee brothers, Connor Frederick and Travis Lavelah, they are stopped at the 11. Kayden Nicastro’s field goal attempt was no good and the ball goes to the Hawks, who made it all the way into ‘Skins territory before the red and blue defense forced a turnover on downs. However, the ‘Skins fumbled and the Hawks recovered the ball.

The Hawks then promptly scored on a 15 yard Chase Ennis pass to Caleb Christian in the end zone and Frank Rafferty’s kick was good. Neshaminy did not score with their possession and the 1st quarter ends with the score ‘Skins 0 – Hawks 7 and with the Hawks on their own 30.

The 2nd quarter starts with an Ennis 35 yard pass to Jake Hemple but a penalty forced a punt.  The ‘Skins then fumbled the ball on their 5 yard line and the Hawks recovered. Three plays later, quarterback Ennis gets into the end zone with a 1 yard run and Rafferty's kick is good. Score is ‘Skins 0 – Hawks 14.

After back and forth possessions, the ‘Skins’ Michael Eckert intercepts a throw from Ennis. The ‘Skins make it down to the Hawks’ 37 yard line where they are faced with a 4th and 4 situation. The ‘Skins go for it, but fail to make the down and turn the ball over. The Hawks are able to move the ball and with 7 seconds left in the half, Council Rock South scores on an Ennis’ 20 yard pass to Shane Myers and Rafferty makes the PAT.

The 'Skins kick off the 3rd quarter and the Hawks move the ball until a personal foul puts them in a 2nd and 29 situation and, after the punt, Neshaminy starts on their own 31. Carter Clee eats up 22 plus yards with some quick runs, Conner Frederick makes a great 17 yard catch to the Hawks’ 35, and Lavelah runs 25 yards to the 10. Carter Clee then punches the ball on 2 yards for a TD and Nicastro’s kick is good. Score is ‘Skins 7 – Hawks 21.

The 4th quarter started with the Hawks in possession of the ball. Halfway through the quarter, Ennis throws an 8 yard pass to Nate Szydlik in the end zone and with Rafferty’s PAT, the score is ‘Skins 7 – Hawks 28. The ‘Skins then start on their own 22 with a little over 6 minutes to go, when the Hawks intercept the ball and land on their own 44. The ‘Skins defense stops the Hawks and the ball goes to the “Skins. With a few seconds left on the clock the Hawks intercept the 'Skins' ball and the clock runs out.
