1966-67 Neshaminy-Langhorne Marching
BAND
The Neshaminy High School Marching Band numbers sixty-five members. Under the direction of Mr. James Crossland, the marching band performed at all our home and away football games. The students rehearsed during band class, which met 5 periods a week, and also practiced occasionally after school.
Giving up their handsome uniforms and marching during the winter, the concentrated on concert music, but they were back in full swing in the spring, performing at an annual Memorial Day parade.
Several of the 1967-1968 band members were chosen to represent Neshaminy at the Bucks County Music Festival. Still more were chosen for the District Band. Kathy White, a senior bassoonist, played an honor solo at the Holiday Concert and was selected for All-State Band and Orchestra.
