We are proud to present the 2010-11 Neshaminy High School Redskin Marching Band. This year the band is comprised of 136 members, which includes 119 musicians and 17 color guard. The band is directed on the field by Drum Majors Brianna Guidos and Pat Cassidy. The band director is Michael Lipton. Band staff includes Dave Heaney, Jason Leigh, Donna Burmylo-Magrann, Lisa Boccuti, Michelle Lillie, Stacy Luciany, Michele Fitzgerald, Kevin Finnerty and Joe Veltri. Drill design is by George Colon and musical arrangements are by John Arietano.

The Marching Band will be kept busy this fall with performances at all Redskin football games as well as participating in Marching Band Shows at Pennridge and William Tennent High Schools. We will host our own 18th Annual Kaleidoscope of Bands Show on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Our 2010 production is entitled "Rhapsody For An Era". The show will feature a variety of music from the 1920's through the swing era. The opening of the show presents the very familiar sounds of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody In Blue". The next segment entitled "Cotton Club" presents a couple of Duke Ellington classics in "Take the "A" Train and "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing. The music then turns to some 1920's swing dance favorites, "The Charleston" and "Happy Feet". We then pay tribute to the great American jazz trumpet and singer Louis Armstrong as we present "What A Wonderful World". The show ends with a reprise of "Rhapsody In Blue". Please sit back and enjoy as we take you back to another Era.
