Neshaminy Full Band NHS 2012

We are proud to present the 2012-13 Neshaminy High School Redskin Marching Band. This year the band is comprised of 122 members, which includes 110 musicians and 12 color guard. The band is directed on the field by Orum Majors Justin Aungst and Emily Singer. The band director is Michael Lipton. Band staff includes Lisa Boccuti, Jason Welsh, Joe Veltri, Mark Filosi, Jeff Ormsby, Nora Kiefer, Matthew Snyder and Hannah Kinsey. Drill design is by Jason Welsh and musical arrangements are by Key Poulan.

The Marching Band will be kept busy this fall with performances at all Redskin football games as well as participating in Marching Band Shows at Pennridge, Council Rock South and William Tennent and Pennsbury High Schools. We will host our own 20th Annual Kaleidoscope of Bands Show on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

Our 2012 production is "The Planets" by Gustav Holst. The show opens with a brief introduction from "Saturn" and then quickly transitions into the powerful sounds of "Mars". "Mars" gives way to the beautiful sounds of "Venus" for a short bit. Next the percussion section is featured performing "Mercury''. The show concludes with the exciting and familiar sounds of the "Jupiter". Please sit back and our presentation of "The Planets".
