2000 Head Coach Coach Schmidt
Welcome to the 2000 Redskin Football season. This past off-season does cause one for reflection. Our Athletic Director, Sheila Murphy, comes back from a tough session of cancer treatment. Our new Principal, Mark Collins, celebrated a successful first year by being a familiar face in the hallways and involved in numerous school events. To top off this season, Neshaminy's own John Petercuskie was inducted into the Pennsylvania Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
As this season comes into view, it finds this football team making great strides in a positive direction. Working very hard and bonding as a team is vital to be successful and this year's team is no exception.
To play in the Suburban 1 Power 10 Conference, you have to have fill circuits firing together. Every aspect of the game has to be airtight in order to be successful. This year's team has a good number of men that have "paid their dues" and now have a chance to fulfill that dream of walking into "Heartbreak Ridge" as a key contributor.
Every year, Neshaminy shines above all else in the total game experience; our field preparation, our band, and our cheerleaders see to that. Our school band and Superintendent Gary Bowman always carry the belief to make athletics so important. Our goal as a football team is to make our families, our school, and our fans proud of our efforts.
