2007*2008 Marching Band

From Director Mike Lipton: We are proud to present the 2007-08 Neshaminy High School Redskin Marching Band. This year the band is comprised of 81 members, which includes 68 musicians and 13 color guard. The band is directed on the field by Drum Majors Kelsi Austin and Jared Middleman. The Color Guard Captain is Taylor Phillips. The band director is Michael Lipton. Band staff includes Dave Heaney, Jason Leigh, Kristin Cloak, Lisa Boccuti, Kristin Chinnici, Karen Arevalo, Kevin Finnerty and Adam Pfannenstiel.. Drill design is by Joe Shonis.

The Marching Band will be kept busy this fall with performances at all Redskin football games as well as participating in Marching Band Shows at Pennridge, Bensalem, William Tennent and Pennsbury
High Schools. We will host our own 15th Annual Kaleidoscope of Bands Show on Saturday, October 27, 2007.

Our 2007 production presents music from the famous opera "Carmen" by French composer Georges Bizet. The opera was premiered in Paris in 1875. It has since become one of the most popular and often performed operas in the wor1d. The story centers around the character of Carmen who is a beautiful gypsy with a fiery temper. The four segments of the show present some of the most exciting and popular music from the opera. Please enjoy our presentation of "Carmen".
