Head Coach Tonya Cabeza
This is Tonya’s 4th year as Neshaminy’s Varsity cheer coach. She grew up in the Pocono area where she cheered through high school and college. Tonya was an assistant cheer coach at Kutztown University after graduation. She coached both field and competitive cheerleading with Penndel Wildcats for a combined 9 years. She is supported by her husband Jerry and three children, a son and two daughters. Tonya looks forward to continuing the success and traditions of Neshaminy Cheer.

Most Memorable Cheer Memory: Going to Disney for Nationals my Junior year and competing on my birthday. Getting to compete in the Field House in the ESPN center is an experience I will never forget and I’ll also remember the whole team speaking in southern accents the whole trip!
Advice to Underclassmen: Be confident. Having confidence not only makes you perform better as an athlete, but makes you a stronger person. Go into any skill or challenge with confidence that you can do it and you will be able to. As I say at every practice, game, and competition, be confident, you’ve got this!
